Private Diffusion requires an Apple Silicon chip and iOS, iPadOS, or macOS 26 or later. It runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Intel Macs are not supported.
Private Diffusion is free in the TestFlight beta. The launch price has not been set. We will announce it before the App Store release.
Five models ship with the app. Flux.2 Klein 4B is the recommended starting point and runs on any supported device with 8 GB of RAM. FLUX.2 Klein 9B, ERNIE Image Turbo, and Chroma1-Flash each need 16 GB and run on iPad and Mac. Z-Image-Turbo needs 12 GB on iPhone or 16 GB on iPad. Each model downloads once and runs offline after that.
The app makes no network calls after the model download. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and NSPrivacyTracking is false in the privacy manifest. Your prompts are never transmitted and your images never reach a server. The gallery's private section is locked with Face ID or Touch ID and stays on your device.
