Private Diffusion Support

Something not working, or a question about what the app can do? Send us a message. Private Diffusion generates entirely on your device and ships no analytics and no crash reporter, so nothing about your problem reaches us until you type it here.

We are a small, independent team in Ireland and the Netherlands. A person reads every message sent from this page and replies when we can.

Before You Email

• Include your app version and build number. Open Settings, then About, and read the line at the bottom of the screen.
• Name your device and its OS version. Private Diffusion needs Apple Silicon and iOS, iPadOS, or macOS 26.4 or later, and the device model tells us how much memory you had to work with.
• Say which model you were generating with, and how much memory your device has. Memory is what decides which models a device can run: the lightest need 8 GB, several need 12 GB, and the heaviest need a 16 GB iPad or Mac.
• Open the image and reveal its Metadata panel. It records the model, seed, steps, resolution, and upscale factor for that exact generation, alongside your prompt and any negative prompt. Paste the generation settings in, and the prompts only if you are willing to share them.
• Run it again with the same prompt and seed, then tell us whether it happened a second time. A one-off and a repeatable failure get different fixes.
• Send only what you are willing to share. Your prompts and images stay on your device unless you paste them in here yourself.
